Steve McCracken aka NONE HERE is a British visual artist who creates his work through painting, drawing, and writing. He is well known for his instantly recognisable and uplifting street art bringing the streets alive with his colourful and stylistic birds.
Living in London for many years Steve put on independent art shows all over the city, when moving back to Exeter Steve became a resident artist at Exeter’s Guildhall Shopping Centre. For two years where he opened up his working studio and gallery to the public creating a welcoming and open minded space which in the end turned into a little regular meeting place for people.
Steve believes art should be accessible for everyone and this is his drive to create street art and work with community groups, primary and secondary schools, charities, secure centres and universities delivering workshops and lectures. We invited Steve into Meraki to deliver a workshop and a live painting session for the students, sharing Meraki's vision and ethos Steve immediately became part of the team.
