Professional artist Chloe Farrant lives in Exeter and is experienced in using a range of mediums. She specialises in murals and porcelain sculpture and enjoys exploring new concepts around the themes of memory and time with her mixed media work.
Chloe is an educator, having worked in art education for 20 years she has seen the power art can have on young people. She believes that making art is for everyone, giving people the space to connect, ask questions, take risks and gain confidence.
She left teaching in primary education in 2021 and founded Meraki Art School in Exeter in response to the COVID 19 lockdowns and a drive to bring quality art education to the city to inspire the next generation of artists.
Since then, she has facilitated 400+ Meraki workshops and has connected with countless families across the city. She has also painted many public spaces in her vibrant wildlife murals, celebrating the beauty and biodiversity on the planet, and continues to develop her artistic practice and personal projects.
