Inspire

Welcome to Meraki Inspire

These classes are taught by friendly and professional artists and teachers who have worked for 25+ years in education

They will learn the essential skills they need to develop their visual language and their own unique voice. Pupils will be introduced to high quality materials selected by our artist teachers and be encouraged to explore and develop new techniques.

They will be taught the fundamental skills of form, line, shape, space, value, texture and colour.

They will learn about artists, designers and arts organisations – igniting their aspiration and giving them the skills to assess and discuss the art around them.  

All young people that attend this class will have the opportunity to create drawings, paintings, and sculptures with the mentoring of our Artist-Teachers.

They will explore a wide range of media including – watercolours, acrylics, clay, chalk and ceramic. Through the year there will be opportunities for to work on projects and produce art for exhibitions that will enable them to showcase their achievements to the world!  

All of our high quality materials and equipment are included in the price.

PLEASE NOTE We do currently waiting list for this class. We also run  a pay-as-you-go painting session called 'Canvas Club' on the first Sunday of each month. You can book this in our 'Holiday Workshops' area. When tickets are available you will be notified through our mailing list - so please subscribe to be informed. You will be held on the waiting list for 6months. If you wish to hold your place on the waiting list beyond the 6 month period please email info@merakiartschool.co.uk
