Welcome to Meraki Imagine

In this class the children will be introduced to the exciting world of Art. They will have the opportunity to use a range of media for the very first time and will be taught the fundamentals in colour mixing, painting, drawing and sculpture which they can build on and apply to their own projects at home.

Children will learn about fabulous artists from the past and contemporary artists working right now. We aim to ignite a passion for art as well as their curiosity about the wider world.  

Children are encouraged to have a go, try new things and take artistic risks in a creative space where there is no such thing as a mistake.

Meraki Create classes are £20 per 1 hour session. This is a tutor led session designed to teach beginner artists the fundamentals in drawing, painting and sculpture to build a strong foundation to build upon.

Parents or guardians are not required to stay, however you are very welcome to stay as we understand sometimes your young artists may like your support and show you their progress as they go. We have a seating area set up for you with tea and coffee aplenty, so please relax and enjoy seeing your children get creative!

If you would like to join us for a taster class, we do offer a pay-as-you-go option on your very first session. This way you can test the waters and see if your child likes it before making a commitment. After the initial taster, you will be required to sign your child up for the remainder of the half or full term (approximately 12 weeks)

All of the materials and equipment are included in the price.

PLEASE NOTE We do currently have a long waiting list for this class. As the demand for this class is so high we also run  a pay-as-you-go painting session called 'Canvas Club' on the first Sunday of each month. You can book this in our 'Holiday Workshops' area. When tickets are available you will be notified through our mailing list - so please subscribe to be informed. When your child reaches the age of 11 you will be automatically removed from the waiting list, if you want to remain on this list please email me at this time.
